Biography

Victoria Ceh has managed non-profit medical associations for over 30 years ranging in scope from local to international. She has managed groups heavily in the dermatology/plastic surgery arena, and also in pediatrics, geriatrics, and general medicine.

Ms. Ceh serves as the current executive director of International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, American Hair Research Society, International Society for Cutaneous Lymphomas, Cosmetic Surgery Foundation, and CEO/Executive Director of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. She also serves as the Executive Secretary to the International Federation of Hair Research Societies. She has provided consulting to the Biomedical Skills Laboratory Management Symposium and the American Academy of Dermatology. She previously served as the director of Association Management Services, a division of Dermatology Services, Inc. that was owned by American Academy of Dermatology. Past societies in which she served as executive director include International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons, International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, International Society of Dermatology, and The American Society of Dermatopathology, among others. Early in her career she worked at the Chicago Medical Society, overseeing 7 chapters plus several county level specialty societies.

Besides board governance, finance, membership and meeting planning, she is highly proficient in accreditation standards for continuing medical education (ACCME) and in designing and executing scientific congresses, live surgery workshops, cadaver courses, and training courses around the globe. She has organized and managed medical meetings in more than 15 countries.

Ms. Ceh holds a Master’s Degree (MPA) from Roosevelt University, Chicago, Illinois, in Public Administration with a focus in Health Services Management, graduating with honors and a 4.0/4.0 grade point average. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree (BS) from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Illinois, in Health Planning and Administration, graduating with honors. Specialized course work included: Health Care Administration, Needs Assessment, Health Policy, Data Analysis and Health Care Systems (completed in the UK).

She brings to each client strong management, clear and open communication, energy, creativity, and a desire to further the client’s mission.  She expects top quality from each team member and the utmost professionalism.

Ms. Ceh is a member of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEHP). She served on the Education Committee of the Alliance for CME in 2008 and is a regular contributor to the Medical Specialty Societies section of the ACEHP.

When not working, Victoria enjoys speed walking, powerlifting, listening to medical podcasts, watching documentaries, and chicken-keeping. She appreciates fine cocktails and beautiful food. Outside of her hobbies, she cherishes time spent with her family and friends.
